3 Sheets to the Wind was launched in late 2010 (under the name Cape To Rio) as a chronicle of a group of local sailors and their aim of sailing in the prestigious Cape To Rio Yacht Race.
After the race ended (read more about our not so smooth sailing) we all but abandoned ship and this site was left moored in the docks of cyberspace for some time. Recently we have decided to get back on the proverbial seahorse and try this again, with a new focus.
We are now a sailing lifestyle site dedicated to all things of the sea; Books, Movies & Music, Fashion & Accessories and most importantly, Sailing. We have revamped our content focus and will have barrels full of sailing talk, sailing regattas and sailing news.
